She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Nelson and Ida Aarhus; her children, Pamela Sue and Jay Alan; her husband Gene Iwen; and her sister Doris Klosetmeier.
She is survived by: her sister Elaine Walberg of Colorado; her grandchildren, Reier Goettel of Fargo, Andrew Braaten (Vanessa) of Christine, ND and Jordan Crouse of West Fargo; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Jasmin, Reier Jr., Alexa, Oliver, Berkleigh, Myla and Gus.
