He was predeceased by: his brothers, Roy Haupt, Clarence Haupt (Ruth) and Martin Haupt (Eldora); and his son Kenneth Howard Haupt. He is survived by: his children, Steve Haupt (Susan) of Redmond, WA and Bonnie Loose (Larry) of Jamestown, ND; his granddaughters, Cassie Mclellan (Colby) of North Bend, WA, Ashlie Griffith (Troy) of Snowqualmie, WA and Laycie Rader (John) of Redmond, WA; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Reese Mclellan, Carson, Ava, Lucy, Sullivan Griffith, Vinnie, Liv and Stevie Rader; his sibling's children, Beverly Haupt Abersfeller (Jeff) of Kennewick, WA, Mark Haupt of Kent, WA and Daniel; his cousins, Carol Arnold (Haupt), Diane, Delphine (Burkle), Glenn and Norman Denning; and his close friend Wanda Wright.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Howie's (205 6th Ave SE, Jamestown, ND 58401).
