It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R Labaw (Jamestown, North Dakota), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frances Labaw and Winifred Labaw; his siblings, Margaret, Ruth, Susan, Mary and Frank; and his brothers-in-law, Allen and Brian.

He is survived by : his daughter Jeanette; his wife Mary; his children, Jeannette (Tom), Jon (Lou) and Aaron; his grandchildren, Jolie, Abby Labaw, Shane, Calvin and Ashley Weiss; and his great grandchild Blakely. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

James donated his body to the UND Deeded Body Program and continues to educate students.
