He was predeceased by: his parents, William O'Neill and Lois O'Neill (Holmes); his brothers, William "Punky", Gannon and Robert; his nephew Bobby O'Neill; his granddaughter Natalie O'Neill; and his daughter-in-law Jodi O'Neill.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Jacob of Woodworth, ND; his sons, Donald of Jamestown, ND, Patrick (Wendy) of Driscoll, ND and Ronald (Janelle) of Woodworth, ND; his grandchildren, Holly, Isaac, Ryon, Shannon and Logan; and his siblings, Thomas (Connie), Casper, Wyo, Pat (Connie) of Bismarck, ND, Mary O'Neill and Bonnie Butwin. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
