He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob J. Jr. Jangula and Eva Jangula (Wald); his former wife Marion Ruth Taszarek; his siblings, Jim and Betty; his granddaughter Katie Mutchler; his son-in-law Kim Lagodinski; and his close friend Georgene Robinson.
He is survived by: his children, Jerome of Detroit Lakes, MN., Frank (Nancy), Mary Jo Mutchler (Mike) of Weatherford, TX, Barbara Barnick (Doug) of Jud, ND, Kevin (Tammy), David (Wellah) and Jeff (Delia); and his siblings, John, Julius, Raymond, Jerry, Conrad, Elenora Lund, Anna Marie Cheney, Alice Kuefler, Helen Weighter and Rosemary Weigel. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
