She was predeceased by: her parents, Art Eckart and Louise Eckart (Jarosch); her husband Donald Bentz; her siblings, Vernice Faul, Bonnie Eckart, Donald Eckart and Larry Eckart; and her siblings-in-law, Alvin Faul, Wes Wixon, Larry Grossman and Hannelore Eckart.

She is survived by: her children, Lori Stiefel of Jamestown and Jeffrey Bentz (Meryem) of Fargo; her grandchildren, Madeline Stiefel Jamestown (Quinn Dixon), Scott Berge and Nicolette Bresnahan (Patrick); her siblings, Marlene Wixon, Carol Martin (Fred), Marge Wagenaar (John), Kathy Grossman, Judy Eckart, Robert Eckart (Gloria), Allan Eckart and Steve Eckart (Kathy); and her friends, Donna LeFevre and Robert Stiles. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
