He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Marsalek, (Antonwitch) and Paul Marsalek, Sr.; his parents-in-law, Harold and Verna Guthmiller; his son Aaron Lawrence Marsalek; and his sister Cynthia "Cindy" Stampka.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Marsalek; his children, Brian Marsalek, Chad Marsalek and Jessica Marsalek-Sahr (Dave); his grandchildren, Lexi, Huntyr (Taylor), Trekkyr, Mark, Bodi, Lyndan, Jordin and Jace; his siblings, Paul Marsalek (Vickie) of Courtenay, ND, Steve Marsalek (Sheila) of Jamestown and Theresa "Terry" Perekovich (Don) of San Antonio, Texas; his siblings-in-law, Mike Guthmiller (Linda), Neil Guthmiller (Linda), Pam McLain (Kenny) and Candace Guthmiller (Kevin Metzger); and his close friend Tom Schutt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
