He was predeceased by : his parents, Hans C. Lillejord and Adeline Lillejord (Jensen); his former life partner Dereth; and his brother Eric. He is survived by : his wife Ellen Musland; his sons, Jon Lillejord (Connie) of Jamestown, ND and David Lillejord (Joy) of Eden Prairie, MN; his grandchildren, Katie White (Cam), Andy (Shenille), Jacob, Rachel and Matthew Lillejord; his great grandchild Ellie White; his brother Hans Lillejord; his nephew Hans Lillejord Jr.; his niece Kersten Levine (Jeff); his stepchildren, Roy Musland (Pamela) of Jamestown, ND, Cody Musland (Sheila) of Edgeley, ND, Eric Musland (Denise) of LaMoure, ND, Julie Skunberg, BJ Kratz of Jamestown, ND and Justin Musland (Angela) of Ham Lake, MN; his stepgrandchildren, Erin Musland, Cally Petersen (Darin), Cole Musland, Logan Winter, Taylor Musland, Jenna Pipek (Zack), Austin Musland (Kallie), Shelby Richter (Cody), Molly, Max Musland, Teagan Thompson (Kade), Boden, Madden Skunberg, Harrison, Tanner and Lucas Musland; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Paisley, Hoyce, Scout Pipek, Saige, Wyatt, Brody Musland, Henley, Bennette Musland and Winslow Richter. He is also survived by four great nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (1403 9th Ave SE, Jamestown, ND 58401). A prayer was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
