He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Kleinknecht and Annetta Kleinknecht (Remmich); his stepmother Emma; and his sister Violet. He is survived by: his children, Renae Jasmann of Jamestown, Teresa Grothe (Troy) of Bismarck, Jamie Kleinknecht (Kim) of Mandan and Kristie Taylor (Jason) of Savannah, Georgia; and his siblings, Annetta Schuler (Sarge), Glen Kleinknecht (Connie), Diane Erickson (Cliff), Roger Kleinknecht, Charles Kleinknecht and Larry Kleinknecht (Paula). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Ray's name to St. Paul's Methodist Church, Jamestown.
