Richard Hamkens Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 22, 2025, at the age of 86, Richard Hamkens (Jamestown, North Dakota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard (Ben) and Louise; his sister RoseAnne; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Klose and Emil Jakubic.
He is survived by: his sisters, Monica Klose, Margaret Lonski (Dennis) and Roberta "Bobbie" Shields (Donald). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
