Violet Bachman Obituary
We announce the death of Violet Bachman (Jamestown, North Dakota), who passed away on November 5, 2026, at the age of 95. Violet will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Meidinger and Martha Meidinger (Schnabel); her husband Harold Bachman; her brother Adam Meidinger; and her grandson James Bachman.
She is survived by: her children, Neil Bachman (Carol), Roger Bachman (Janell) and Paulette Schlecht (Ronald); and her grandchildren, Cory Bachman (Molly), Tim Bachman (Brenda), Melissa Rodriguez (Mariano), Nicole Olafson (Darren), Naomi Hoeg (Jesse) and Erica Oster (Nathan). She is also survived by her many great-grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren; along with many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Haut Funeral Home (1101 5th Ave NE, Jamestown, ND 58401). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery- Streeter.
