She is survived by: her husband Jerrold Schmit; her son Rob Schmit (Pam); her grandchildren, Evan, Alaina, Owen and Soren; her son Joseph Schmit (Aimee); her grandchildren, Sydney (Taren) and Rebecca Schmit (Dominique); her great grandchild Robert; her sister Kathy Larson (Doug); her children, Seth, Leif and Erik; her brother Craig Neuenfeld (Jill); her children, Derrick, Matthew and Kari; her brother Kurt Neuenfeld (David); and her granddaughter Iva Schmit.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Nazareth Lutheran Church (401 N Central Ave, Kenmare, ND 58746). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
