She was predeceased by: her parents, Raynold Anderson and Vendla Anderson (Nordstrom); her grandmother Christian; her husband Carmie Nelson; her son Gary Nelson; her grandson-in-law Lee Helmers; her great grandchild Jaeger Huber; her sister Lorraine Medalen (Curt); and her nephew Kent Medalen.
She is survived by: her sons, Lowell Nelson and Mark Nelson (Michele); her grandchildren, Ryan Nelson, Crystal Jochim, Ashley Huber (Jason), Clay Nelson (Macie) and Kylee Dronen (Payden); and her great grandchildren, Macy, Morgan Jochim, Eden, Ember, Jayes Huber, Hayven Nelson, Saige and Tate Dronen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Church (318 6th Ave NE, Kenmare, ND 58746). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
