He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Emmanuel Rodin and Alma Sophia Rodin (Ekstrom); his siblings, James Rodin and Vernis Nelson (Clifford); his grandchildren, Brianna Vollmer, Mychael Vollmer, Caleb Vollmer and Alyssa Vollmer; his daughter Julie Vollmer (James); and his son-in-law James Vollmer.
He is survived by: his wife LaDonna Ilene Zimmer; his children, Carla Wahlund (Jay) and Lenny Rodin (Susan); his grandchildren, Brittany Vollmer, Brecca Wahlund, Jaden Wahlund, Paxten Wahlund (Kaia), Allie Wahlund, Abbie Wahlund, Hunter Rodin (Amber), Jacob Rodin (Katelyn) and Brooklyn Rodin; his great grandchild Grace Rodin; and his sister-in-law Wanda Rodin.
