He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Schwartzenberger and Irene Schwartzenberger (Kasian); his son Rodney; his siblings, Matthew R. Schwartzenberger and Gloria; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Kadrmas, Anton "Tony" Heiser and LeRoy Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Olson of Killdeer; his children, Lori Jilek (Dale) of Belfield, Susan Summerfield (Kelly) of Killdeer, Donald (Birgit) of Tamarack, MN and Terry (Suzi) of Killdeer; his siblings, Ben of Sidney, MT, Pat (Lavonne) of Mandan, Mary Wittinger of Seattle, WA, Margie Schmitt of Bowman, Jane Heiser of Dickinson and Joanne Kadrmas of Belfield; and his sister-in-law Lois Schwartzenberger of Texas. He is also survived by 8 grandkids; numerous great-grandchildren.
