It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Tuhy of Killdeer, North Dakota, who passed away on May 26, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Tuhy and Katherine Tuhy (Kostelecky); his wife Trude; his stepmother Agnes Tuhy; his siblings, Lillian Dvorak, Marge Hibl, Minnie Heidt, Albert Tuhy and Mary Mann; and his son-in-law Art Perdue.
He is survived by: his children, Dan Tuhy (Nancy) of Dunn Center, Jane Perdue of Bismarck, Tom Tuhy (Suzi) of Dunn Center, Mary Wheeling (Bob) of Killdeer, Bob Tuhy (Gay) of Dunn Center and Ann Knutson (Kim) of Dunn Center; his grandchildren, Steven Tuhy (Danielle), Kelly Fritel (Jimmy), Rachel Kuehl (Travis), Shane Tuhy (Rachael), Jeffrey Erickson (D'Ann), Katie Donahey (Shawn), Karolyn Allen (Drew), Sean Tuhy (Tess), Mandy Hauff (Steve), Jacob Wheeling (Brittany), Kristi Knutson, Kelsey Knutson, Jamie Meidinger and Erik Tuhy (Paige); and his sisters, Bernice Hoffmann and Betty Kordonowy. He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren.
