It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Kenneth Heidlebaugh of Knox, North Dakota, born in Rugby, North Dakota, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Emerson and Helen Cora Corneliuson Heidlebaugh; his spouse Beverly Mahle; his sister LaVerne Moe; his grandson Donnie McKay; and his stepgrandson Travis Stone.
He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Vargas, Marlys (Kevin Koucic), Randy, Rugby and Linda Richter; his brothers, Gary and Curtis; and his stepchildren, Deb (Greg Moller), Leeds, Sheryl (Ron Volk), Mandan, Connie Stone, Bill (Dawn Mahle), Wolford and Carla (Mike Becker). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and 15 step grandchildren and 13 step great grandchildren.
