Kathlyn Ann Kolberg Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2025, at the age of 88, Kathlyn Ann Kolberg of Lakota, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Kathlyn Ann leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Anderson and Ida Anderson (Hermanson); her husband Donald Kolberg; her daughter Lisa Splinter; and her sister Sandy Martz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Ritteman (Mike) and Georgia; her son-in-law Jerry Splinter; and her siblings, Aron Anderson (Mary), Sherry Duncan and Pam Ivy. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
No services will be held at this time, as Kathlyn's wish was to donate her body to UND for science and research. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to NCHS Care Center, PO Box 506, McVille, ND 58254.
