With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie K. Halvorson of Lakota, North Dakota, who passed away on June 20, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Lewin Kober and Elizabeth Kober (Walter); her husband Art; her daughter-in-law Linda Halvorson (Voiles); her great grandchild Eric Richard Huggins; her siblings, Tom Kober (Mary), Albert Kober (Jan), Gertrude Kober, Johnny Kober (Marge) and Arnold Kober (Ida); her siblings-in-law, LaVern Halvorson (Jean), Dennis Halvorson (Sylvia), Terrence Halvorson, Daniel Halvorson and Liv Halvorson; and her nephews, Randy Halvorson, Duke Kober and Steve Krech.
She is survived by : her son Rodney Halvorson of Laurel, MT; her grandchildren, Alyssa Wright (Joe) of Sheridan, WY, Sarah Halvorson of Scottsdale, AZ, Andrew Halvorson (Melanie) of Chagrin Falls, OH and Mathew Halvorson (Mary) of Billings, MT; her great grandchildren, Austin Wright, Gabriella Wright, Beatrice Halvorson, Stella Halvorson, Robin Halvorson, Fiel Hicks, Florence Hicks, Jeremiah Hicks, Kober Hicks, Josephine Holzman, Millie Holzman, Titus Ritteman, Adelida Ritteman, Leo Ritteman, Gracie Benesh, Arianna Huggins, Kaiden Huggins, Kassidy Lacey and Grayson Lacey; and her siblings-in-law, Aloyus Halvorson (Arlene), Murill Halvorson, Carol Halvorson and Marie Halvorson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Lakota Cemetery or the Lakota Ambulance.
