He is survived by : his wife Frances (McCleary); his children, Gina Dathe (Kevin) of South Milwaukee, WI, Carolyn Meehl of Fargo, ND, Terry Roehrich (Melisa) of Oakes, ND and Todd Roehrich (Lisa) of LaMoure, ND; his grandchildren, Caz Dathe, Jake Meehl, Britney Premo (Daniel), Tanesha Roehrich, Nash Dathe (Kayla), Jared Meehl (Dakota), Brennon Roehrich, Katelyn Heier, Zac Roehrich, Justin Meehl (Matalyn), Samantha Roehrich, Jordan Meehl, Tanner Roehrich and Deagan Roehrich; his great grandchildren, Brynlee, Kinzlee and Braxlee Premo; and his siblings, Robert Roehrich (Peggy), Jerome Roehrich (Debbie) and Elaine Knudson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

Frye family wrote a sympathy message

“We all deeply miss Floyd’s laughs and kidding, he was such a light in our lives as we traveled to North Dakota almost every summer and stayed with the family. The first time we met Floyd was in a trailer up in Driscoll. That was the beginning of so much love from he and Francie toward our family. We cherished him like a brother and Francie is certainly my sister in love and life. All our love and support in the days and weeks ahead. Miss you Floyd, you are burned into our hearts and memories.”
