She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilfred Chaput and Imelda Chaput (Stevens); and her brother Jerry Chaput. She is survived by : her husband Duane Otto of Langdon, ND; her children, Paul Otto of Grand Forks, ND, Gary Otto (Kristen) of Ft. Collins, CO, Karla Gellner (Jay) of Langdon, ND, Kevin Otto (Kristi) of Grand Forks, ND, Kathy Postlewaite (Phil) of Lakeville, MN and Karen Patton (Jim) of Albertville, MN; her brother LaVern Chaput (Margaret); and her sisters-in-law, Sally Otto, Lois Otto and Margaret Chaput.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bev's name to the Cavalier County Friends for Life, St. Alphonsus School Foundation, or the Cavalier County Memorial Hospital Foundation. Blood donation is encouraged in her honor.
