It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Tholkes (Langdon, North Dakota), born in Munich, North Dakota, who passed away on March 26, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Michael Wirth and Martha Wirth (Janowski); her husband Joe; her son-in-law Tom Hall; her grandson Justin Kruk; her siblings, Victor Wirth (Ester), Lester Wirth (Leona), Loretta Hiltner (Marcel Mathieu), Francis Wirth, Beatrice Houghton (Bud), Norman Wirth (Nora), Valery Hudson (Harold) and Madelyn Hoffmann (Michael); and her brothers-in-law, David Henderson and Vincent Dawley.

She is survived by : her children, Joan Hall of Devils Lakes, ND, Ron Tholkes (Linda) of West Fargo, ND, Carol Throndset (Dennis) of Langdon and Renae Tholkes (Art Heigaard) of Grand Forks, ND; her grandchildren, Steph McArthur (Roger), Kirsten Duval (Tony), Kelly Hall (Angela), Pat Hall (Jonna), Leah Schmidt (Robb), Rochelle Tholkes, Dawn Kruk (Stoney), Jennifer Romfo (Trevor), Andrea Maus (John), Jamie Mercer (Keith) and Chris Girodat; and her sisters, Martha Rose Henderson of Langdon, ND and Lois Dawley of Munich, ND. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandsons.
