He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Wenstad and Elberta Wenstad (Andersen); his parents-in-law, Kermit and Alvina Thompson (Hiatt); his sisters, Bobbi Wenstad, Donna Wenstad and Debbie Slyter; his brothers-in-law, Gordon Thompson, Randy Thompson, Larry Thompson Elwood Smith, Greg Quiner, Donald Tennyson and Lawrence Turner; his niece Stacey Slyter; and his nephew Allan Turner.

He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his children, Clifford (Tarri Jo), James (Amy) and Shelly; his siblings, Donald Wenstad, Curtis Wenstad, Pam Lang and Connie Turner; and his siblings-in-law, Jodi Quiner, Susan Smith, Sharon Tennyson, Debra Thompson, Cheryl Thompson, Richard Thompson and Kevin Thompson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
