It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Swanson of Larimore, North Dakota, born in Valley Springs, Arkansas, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Earnest Edwards and Ethel Marie Edwards; her husband Albert Swanson; her brother JC Edwards (Joanne); her uncle Berry Edwards; and her sister-in-law Marie Kvasager (Harry).

She is survived by : her children, Ron Swanson (Michelle) of Larimore, Connie Nelson (David) of Grand Forks and Brad Swanson (Kylie) of Larimore; her grandchildren, Rochelle Ray (Neal), Shaun Swanson, Amber Norton (Tanner), Kari Olson (Anthony), Brenna Pladson (Jacob) and Jordan Swanson; her great grandchildren, Anneliese, Philip Ray, David, Danny Norton and Khloe Olson; her niece Linda Nale; and her nephews, Rodney Kvasager and Ronald Ovind.
