He is survived by: his sons, Brian of McCanna and Daniel (Jessica) of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Andrew, Michael and Isabella; his sister Sharon of Bachelor's Grove Community Park; his nieces, Lisa Enerson (Norm) and Annette Mozey; his sister Donna; his brother-in-law Tom Runyan; and his nieces and nephews, Taunia Suckert and Shannon Gephart.

He had cared for her for the last ten years of her Alzheimer's journey.
