We announce the death of Orpha Lorraine Lieberg of Larimore, North Dakota, who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 86. Orpha will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Orpha will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Orpha will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Orpha’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Foss and Florence Foss (Groven); her sister Mildred; and her parents-in-law, Art and Mary Lieberg.
She is survived by: her husband Alden Lieberg; and her daughters, Kim Nelson (Kevin), Karen Salwey (Don), Kristi Williamson (Dave Ness), Kathy Moser (Dan) and Karla Middlestead (Jason). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (302 Booth Ave, Larimore, ND 58251). A prayer was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
