We bid farewell to Daniel L. Stave of Leeds, North Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 12, 2026 at the age of 72. Daniel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Stave and Rebecca Stave (Calderwood); his parents-in-law, Thorvald and Maxine Straabe; his siblings-in-law, Judy Tompkins, Craig Straabe and David Straabe; and his uncles, Terry Stave, David Stave, George Calderwood, Russell Calderwood, Willis Calderwood and Donald Calderwood.
He is survived by: his wife Candace Straabe; his daughter Traci Ripplinger (David) of West Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Katherine, Thomas, Michael, Teresa and Caroline; and his siblings, Kent (Yvonne), Dawn, Karl (Barb), Lowell (Lori) and Lane (Laura). He is also survived by numerous brother and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
