He is survived by: his wife Rita Kaye Schmaltz of Leeds, ND; his children, Mandy Serfoss (Levi) of Jamestown, ND, Luke Brossart of Leeds, ND, Callie Parslow (Nick) of Leeds, ND and Abbie Hermanson (Brad) of Maddock, ND; his siblings, Randy (Cindy) of Rugby, ND, Lynda Humble (Scott) of Cavalier, ND, Debbie Hoffart (Allan) of Rugby, ND and Brenda Brossart of Grand Forks, ND; and his grandchildren, James, Wesley, Wyatt, Gavin, Porter, Hudson, Ari, Rhett, Averi, Gunner, Isla and Ava. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
