He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Fust and Minnie Fust; his son Brian; his sisters, Joyce Matuska (Ernie) and Rosella Medhaug; and his son-in-law Brian Anderson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn Anderson (Brian), Lori Plankers (Roy) and Jodi Birnbaum (Phil); his grandchildren, Desiree Possehl (Joe), Brandi Hermann (Doug), Marshall Anderson (Alicia), Dylan Anderson, Brad Plankers (KaeLyn), Jack Plankers (Courtney), Chuck Plankers, Evan, Isaac and Jacob Birnbaum; his great grandchildren, Colton, Addison, Morgan Possehl, Hunter, Henry Hermann, Harper, Scarlett, Vivian Plankers and Levi Plankers; his wife Shirley Baker of Martin's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Bill (Carole), Arlan (Deb), Mavis Thornberg and Velma Fust. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Boniface Catholic Church (230 1st St NW, Lidgerwood, ND 58053). A prayer was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
