He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Ann Heminger and Percy Kirk, Jr.; and his grandparents, Christian, Lucinda Heminger, Percy Kirk, Sr. and Marcellaine Renville.
He is survived by: his son Jeffrey; his sister Trilby Lawrenson of Lidgerwood, ND; his goddaughter Juliana Martinez of Elgin; and his sibling's children, Rick Plank (Ashlyn), Trista King (Aaron) and Dewey Lawrenson. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sisseton Wahpeton Tribal Community Center, Agency Village.
