He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sandberg and Lillian Sandberg (Monson); his daughter Megan; and his brother Jerome. He is survived by: his sons, Tyler Sandberg, Lucas Sandberg (Mercedes) and Cameron Sandberg; his grandchildren, Chastidy, Ashlyn, Sophia, Cole, Clayton, Carter and Nevaeh; and his siblings, Duane Sandberg (Kayla) and Donna Lou Witty (Leslie). He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (301 Grove St, Lignite, ND 58752). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
