He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross C. King and Valdene King (Rall). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Mathern; his children, Tina Stehlik (Nick) of Enderlin, Luther King (Mindi) of Fargo and Phillip King (Lindsay) of Kulm; his grandchildren, Maeve, Everett and Rhea; and his siblings, Ron King of Lincoln, ND and Mary King of Bismarck.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home (11 Main St, Lisbon, ND 58054). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Dakota Veterans Home Activities Department in his memory.
