We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Cody Rader of Lisbon, North Dakota, born in Lakota, North Dakota. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Raymond, Violet Rader, Terry and Gayle Short; his brother Kyle; his aunt Jean Short; his uncles, Jeff Hazemann and David Norgard; and his cousin Brandon Klein.

He is survived by : his parents, Laura Rader (Short) of Lisbon, ND and Ron Rader; his brothers, Chad Rader (Melissa) of Michigan, ND, Cory Rader (Ashley) of Gilbert, AZ and Derrick Rader (Bridgette) of Lisbon, ND; his nephew Gavin; his nieces, Hayden and Kennedy; his stepgrandmother Shirley Short of Cooperstown, ND; and his pet Boo. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Saphire Hein lit a candle

“In loving memory of Cody Rader, Peace, Prayers and Blessings. I met Cody at work. I was obnoxious and he laughed at me. We became friends. Over the years we got together chatted, laughed and shared stories. Everytime I saw Cody he brought a smile to my face. When I think of Cody he still does. When I will think of Cody, he still will. Cody was a gift. Im so blessed to have known him and blessed because I get to remember him!”
