Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ione Sampsell of Lisbon, North Dakota, born in Wetonka, South Dakota, who passed away at the age of 91, on June 10, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Idris "Pete" Kaven and Alma Hering Kaven; her husband Deane Sampsell of Westport; her siblings, DuWayne, Daryl Kaven, Darlene Maier (Kaven) and Maxine Smith (Kaven); and her stepsiblings, Lavila Kaven and Owen John Kaven.
She is survived by: her daughter Jodie; her son-in-law Dennis York; and her sister Marilyn Bieber (Kaven). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
