He is survived by: his wife Ardis of Lisbon, ND; his children, Kimberly Herman of West Fargo, ND, Kristine Harrison (Kelly) of Big Lake, MN and Michael Metzen (Heather Will) of Lisbon, ND; and his sisters, Shirley Heley (Harvey) of Lidgerwood, ND and Carol Olson of Lisbon, ND. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
