We bid farewell to James Orville Johnson of Lisbon, North Dakota, born in Harvey, North Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 8, 2025 at the age of 78. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Johnson and Olga Johnson (Opsal); and his siblings, Larry, David and Dianne.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Johnson; his daughters, Jamie Maier (Josh) and Laura Street (Michael); his grandchildren, Grace, Madeline Maier and Ethan Street; his sisters, Marilyn and Laverne (Gwyn); and his brother-in-law Mark Swartz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the North Dakota Veterans Home Activity Fund.
