With sadness, we share the passing of Rebecca A. Thompson of Maddock, North Dakota. Rebecca, born on October 27, 1948, passed away on June 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Madelyn Haagenson (Berg) and Boyd Haagenson; her husband Ronnie Thompson; her stepmother Elna Haagenson; her parents-in-law, Roy and Grace Thompson; her siblings, Sandra Tofsrud-Luder and David Haagenson; her stepbrother Randy Pederson; her grandson Alec Howard; and her nephews, Allan Tofsrud and Jeremiah Haagenson.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ethan Howard, Emma, Evan, Eric Thompson, Ceara, Preston, Garrette (Breanna Specht) and Austin Thompson; her stepgrandchildren, Jonathon, Erin Allen (Andrew), Jenifer, Erika Gilpatrick, Mike (Alyssa), Chris (Mariah) and McKenna Tofsrud; her great grandchildren, Kaidyn Burdick, Hennessy Kukowski, Arlo and Layne Thompson; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Whitley Jo Allen, Emery Jade Gilpatrick Gross, Avlyn, Easton, Cohen Tofsrud, Tinley, Tallan Boone and Townes Tofsrud; her cousins, Marco Tollefson, Julie Tollefson, MariDon Tollefson Sorum and Miriam Campbell Gilligan (Kathy Lalum); her brothers, Larry Haagenson (Jan), Paul Haagenson (Sharyl Schaffer), David Pederson (Lori) and Brian Pederson (Marla); her brother-in-law Garry Thompson (Darlene); and her nephew Corey (Missy). She is also survived by several nieces nephews, and cousins.
