He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert and Ada; his daughter Bobbie Ann; and his sisters, Lorraine, Bernie, Marge and Bonnie.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Sperle; his son Scott; his grandson Kaden; his great grandchild Jackson; and his siblings, Arby Wolff (Lloyd), Kathy Weaver (Don), Cindy Bates (George), Linda Michaelsohn (Curt), Tom Schauer (Sandy), Charles Schauer (Terry), Bert Schauer and Jerry Schauer (Vickie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Calendar Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Service (2302 E Divide Ave, Bismarck, ND 58501). A rosary was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calendar Corpus Christi Catholic Church (1919 N 2nd St, Bismarck, ND 58501). A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM.
