He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Berger and Barbara Berger (Helbling); his wife Susan Bayer; and his siblings, Blandine, Ella Marie, Martina, Richard, Leona, Janice, Eugene and Eunice.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Heinsen (Les) of Fair Oaks, CA, Kelly Neibauer (Bill) of Mandan, Jackie Davison (Jaden) of Bismarck, ND and Michael Berger (Lorraine "Rainy") of Mandan, ND; his grandchildren, Christopher (Rachael), Daniel Heinsen (Julie), Wyatt Berger of Mandan, ND and Annie (Brenen); his stepdaughters, Karla Schneider (Tracey) of Bismarck, ND, Shelly Welsch of Bismarck and Jennifer Wollman (Troy) of Mandan; his stepgrandchildren, Justin Keller of Bismarck, Sydney Keller (Brady), Jared Schneider of Bismarck, ND, Christopher, McKenzie Wollman of Mandan, ND and Alexis Ford (Jesse) of Powell Butte, OR; and his close friends, Joe, Carly Roeder, Carolyn Leingang, Sally and Ty Young. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren.
With heavy hearts and profound love, we announce the passing of our father, Clifford "Cliff" Berger who departed from us on May 3, 2025 after a very courageous battle with Parkinson's.
