He was predeceased by: his stepmother Bernie Vollmuth; and his grandparents, Virginia "Ginny" Blazer, Albin and Elizabeth "Eliz" Vollmuth. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Taylor; his children, Rylee and Bralyn; the mother of his children Samantha Barnes of Bismarck; his mother Sue Vollmuth (Mike Hawkenson); his sister Dana Friedt (Jason); his sibling's children, Briele of Beulah, Jayden of Beulah, Korbin of Beulah and Adison of Beulah; his grandfather Ken Blazer; his stepsiblings, Allison Goettle (Vince) and Ryan Runge; his parents-in-law, Terry and Nancy Barnes; his close friends, Guy Danielson and Bill Schneider; and also, Makenna of Mandan, Madison of Mandan and Mason of Mandan. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Parkway Funeral Service (2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck, ND 58503).
