It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emelie Thomas of Mandan, North Dakota, born in Center, North Dakota, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mothers, Wendelin Zahn and Rose Zahn (Keller); her in-laws, Nick and Rose Thomas; her sister Arlene; her brothers-in-law, Emmanuel Schutt, Bill Etherington and Kenneth Thomas; and her niece Cindy Berg.

She is survived by : her husband Eugene Thomas; her children, Marla Barnhardt (Randy), Neal (Kris), Ryan (Lynette Stebner) and Justin; her grandchildren, Kayla Long (CJ), Gabi Bullinger (Jordan), Nealee Thomas, Shaydon Auck, Brekken Dockter, Riley Barnes, Ethan Psyck, Glen Ullin and Aaron Thomas of Moorehead, MN; her great grandchildren, Kaiyl, Zackri Long, Adalee Mueth and Augustus Bullinger; her siblings, Cathy Thomas, Laverne Hoffman (John), Janice Theurer (Willy) of Center, Bernice Etherington of Jamestown and Ted; and her sisters-in-law, Lori Zahn and Bev Thomas. She is also survived by extended family including multiple brothers and sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
