He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gomke and Adeline Gomke; his wife Marlene Kitzan; his parents-in-law, Emil and Frieda Kitzan; his siblings, Bobby Gomke, Joyce Kitzan, Florence Schafer, Linda Smith and May Fried; and his brothers-in-law, Leroy "Tubby" Werner and Harold Kitzan.
He is survived by: his sister Sandra Werner; and his siblings-in-law, Leroy Smith of Watonga, OK and Kathy Gappert (Ron). He is also survived by many nieces and nephew; and caregivers, friends.
