He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Weekes and Ethel Weekes; his brother Donald; his sister-in-law Mary; his brothers, Robert and Lyle; his brother-in-law Dale Whitcomb; and also, Henry, Ruth Benson and Eileen.
He is survived by: his children, Perry of Bismarck and Ronda; his son-in-law David Schmitt of Arizona; his grandchildren, Shawn Weekes (Jen) of Mandan and Ava; his great grandchildren, Anika, Kaebry and Tanner; his sister Janet; his brother-in-law Henry Meyer of Flasher; his daughter-in-law Cindy Weekes of Bismarck; his sweetheart Annie Schwartz; and also Chloe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Buehler-Larson Funeral Home (1701 Sunset Dr, Mandan, ND 58554). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the United Church of Christ (1200 E Highland Acres Rd, Bismarck, ND 58501). A burial was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Fair Hill Cemetery (240 Main St S, Flasher, ND 58535).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame in Medora.
