He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Maier and Evelyn Maier. He is survived by: his children, Shayla Maier (Joe), Shelly Portscheller (Chad), Wendy Hausauer (Jason), Wanda Leppell (Frank) and Scott Maier (Miranda); his former wife Shirley; and his sister Gayle Lee (late Jackie). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; a niece and nephew.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
