He is survived by: his wife Kathy Smith; his children, Keith and Kelly Tollefsrud (Paul); his granddaughter Andree Duecker (Gavin); his great grandchildren, Kellen and Cash; his grandchild Lexi Kix (Logan); his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Lucy and Lydia; his grandchildren, Alyssa Tollefsrud and Korinne Kist (Jerry); his great grandchildren, Jesse Kist (Breanna), Jake Kist and Sandra Haider (Gary); his children, Eryn Murphy (James), Matthew Haider and Susan Koch (Dan Lofgren); his grandchildren, Mackenzie Loucks and Livia Loucks; Elsie, Sylvie, Lillie, Jamie Kerner (Josh) and Ike. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends; and brothers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Weigel Funeral Home (309 4th Ave NW, Mandan, ND 58554). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (108 3rd St NE, Mandan, ND 58554). A reception will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Kist Livestock (1715 40th Ave SE, Mandan, ND 58554).
