He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Borchert and Grace McDowall Borchert; his wife Arlene Hillius Arndt; his sister Margo Kleven; and his brothers-in-law, John Bailey and Gary Kleven.
He is survived by: his sons, Donavon (Lisa) and Scott (Jeri); his stepchildren, Audi Arndt, Audrey Johnson, Robin Arndt and Lori Frank; his sister Vonda Bailey; and his son Believeth. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (904 8th Ave SE, Mandan, ND 58554). A memorial service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
