It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Welk (Mandan, North Dakota), who passed away on April 15, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Arlys and Alvin Mullen; and his sisters, Annetta Geisler (Bob), Leona Bollinger (Art), Freda Keller (Paul), Nora Kinzler (Eugene) and Lenora.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Mullen of Bloomer, WI; his children, Chris and Cheryl Welk of Mandan; his grandchildren, Christian Jr. Welk, Sabrina Welk and Aiden Schlotman; his siblings-in-law, Sandi Reed (Paul) of New Auburn, WI, Don Mullen (Perky) of Luxenberg, WI and John Mullen (Laura) of Darby, MT.; his brothers, Walter Welk (Shirley), Norman Welk (Martha) and Art Welk; and his sister-in-law Sharron Oines.
He enjoyed his coffee time with friends at Dan's (until Covid hit and closed everything down).
