Larry N. Metzger Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2025, at the age of 78, Larry N. Metzger (Mandan, North Dakota) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Larry N. Metzger to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nestor Metzger and Helen Metzger; his sister Beverly; and his nephews, Cody and Elliot.

He is survived by: his wife Lu Metzger (Woodrow); his children, Jamie (Heather), Phoenix, Griffin and Kristy (Justin); and his siblings, Lee, Glenn, Daryl, Ron, Gene, Sharon, Lanette and Carla.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DaWise-Perry Funeral Services (4211 Old Red Trail, Mandan, ND 58554). A rosary was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Life Catholic Church (801 1st St SE, Mandan, ND 58501). A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554).

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be given in memory of Larry to North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Bismarck Cancer Center, or Alzheimer's Disease research.
