The memory of LeRoy Helbling of Mandan, North Dakota, who passed away on July 31, 2025 at the age of 63, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jacob A. Helbling and Rose Helbling (Boehm); his grandparents, Peter V. and Rose Helbling; his wife Rosemary Graner; his cousin Tim Johnson; his sisters, Sonja Wiser (Michael), Marlys Rychlik (Don), Jackie Castillo (Rey) of Sacramento, CA and Gloria Fox of Vancouver, WA; his siblings-in-law, Claudia Bell (Ron) of Mandan, Louaine Wetch (Greg) of Mandan, Roger Graner (Becky) of Mandan and Virginia Mehlhoff (Dan Kraft) of Mandan; his pet Axel; his sisters, Yvonne Hurkes (Jim), Charmaine Helbling and Juliana Helbling; his brother-in-law William Fox; his in-laws, Leland and Angela; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jesse Wetch and Rowdy Graner.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM. A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Weigel Funeral Home (309 4th Ave NW, Mandan, ND 58554). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (108 3rd St NE, Mandan, ND 58554).
