He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Ensminger and Tillie Ensminger (Hauck); his siblings, Dennis Ensminger, Nyla Thatcher (Jack), Harbert Ensminger, Howard Ensminger, Muriel Ketterling, Eunice Bond and Beverly Lukens; and his stepson Danny Hofer.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Ensminger (Hofer); and his children, Greg Ellenson, Kathy Curtis (Shawn), Wayne Keenan, Mickie Berger, Nancy Finck (Pete) and Wade Hofer. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
